Every year Ministry of Road Transport and Highways publishes a document of Road Accident Data in India. Road safety is at the forefront of the Ministry’s endeavor to improve road transport scenario of the country. As signatory to Brasilia Declaration for reduction of road accidents and fatalities by 50 percent by 2020, India has a big challenge to achieve this.
