  • Obstruction free footpaths throughout the city
  • Functional pedestrian signals at the major junctions
  • Good quality usable and safe pedestrian facilities all over the city
  • Footpaths should have basic amenities like functional toilets, trash bins, seating benches with shades, streetlights, etc.
  • Well-marked and visible zebra crossing at every signal
  • Designated safe crossing at every street and installation of midblock crosswalks at major streets in the city
  • Strict action against the illegally parked vehicles on the footpaths
